Therapy That Leads to Meaningful, Lasting Change
Psychotherapy is a powerful tool for deepening your self-understanding, breaking free from limiting patterns, processing painful experiences, overcoming inner obstacles, and unlocking new paths forward.
My name is Isabella, and my goal is to support you in feeling better — through conversations that help you cultivate insight, self-compassion, and clarity around what’s holding you back from living the life you want.
Insight, Self-Compassion, and Growth
Psychotherapy will help you get greater insight into the patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that keep you stuck.
In my experience, real and lasting change starts when we dare to explore our feelings and experiences more deeply — and I’m here to support you in that work.
In our sessions, we will work together to help you access the insight, motivation, self-compassion, and courage you need to live more fully and freely.
You can read more about me and my approach to therapy below.
A Safe Space for Self-Exploration and Personal Development
My aim is to offer you a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where we can explore the connections between your inner world, your past, and the challenges you face today.
I welcome clients from all backgrounds and life experiences. I have a special interest in working with people who are adopted or racialised, and who are affected by experiences of racism, minority stress, or discrimination in any form.
Clients who identify as LGBTQIA+ are also warmly welcome.
Take the First Step
I will relate to you not just as a psychologist, but as a fellow human being — and I know how hard life can be when fear and negative thoughts take over.
My wish is to support you in finding more joy, confidence, connection, and a greater sense of belonging — both within yourself, and in the world.
You are warmly welcome to book a first session with me!

What to expect – the therapy process
Here's a brief overview of how the therapy process usually unfolds.
Introductory call (free of charge)
You’re welcome to begin with a short, free phone call (approx. 15 minutes), where you can share a bit about what you’re struggling with. I’ll listen and offer an initial sense of whether – and how – I might be able to support you.
You're not committing to anything by booking this call. It’s simply an opportunity for you to ask questions and get a feel for whether you’d like to move forward and work with me.
Prefer to skip the intro call and book a first session directly? That’s totally fine too — the call is optional.
Initial assessment sessions
The first few sessions are focused on building a deeper understanding of your situation. You’ll have space to talk about:
What you want help with
Symptoms or challenges you're experiencing
Your personal and life history
Your current daily life and routines
Your relationships and social context
During these sessions, I’ll make an initial assessment and suggest the therapeutic approache and method that might suit you.
You don’t need to have all the answers or know exactly why you're feeling the way you do — that’s something we’ll explore together.
I’ll ask questions that help us start to understand your difficulties. Together, we’ll begin to shape a treatment plan based on your goals and needs.
Psychotherapy – treatment phase
This is the main part of our work together. The focus and structure will depend on your goals, preferences, and the challenges you're facing.
Between sessions you may be working with things like:
Reflection / journaling prompts
Filling out work sheets
Skills training and trying out new ways of doing things in your everyday life
Exposure work (e.g., for anxiety or phobias)
Listening to podcasts or reading materials on relevant topics
Therapy is not time-limited – we continue for as long as it feels helpful and meaningful for you.
Ultimately, the goal is for you to no longer need therapy – to feel confident in your own understanding and ability to manage life using the tools and insights you’ve developed.
My Approach – Change Through Understanding and Compassion
My approach is founded in a deep belief in each person’s innate capacity to heal and grow — through self-compassion, courage, insight, understanding, and acceptance.
Depending on your unique history and current struggles, I combine this relational foundation with tools and perspectives from evidence-based therapeutic approaches I’m trained in. Together, we explore what works best for you.
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with formal training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy (PDT), and Clinical Hypnosis. In addition, I have pursued advanced studies in Cognitive Therapy.
Safety, Presence, and Trust – the Foundation of Our Work
Making sure you feel seen, heard, and taken seriously is central to how I work.
A good therapeutic relationship is, at its core, a human relationship. I strive to be genuine and fully present in each session.
I believe that real change starts when we meet all parts of ourselves with openness, curiosity, and kindness — even the parts that feel painful or uncomfortable. This creates the foundation to face what’s difficult with warmth and respect, rather than judgment or avoidance.
And yes — humor is also part of the process. Sometimes, being able to laugh can make the heavy things feel a little lighter.
Of course, I work under full confidentiality. What you share in our sessions stays between us.
When It’s Hard to Put Feelings Into Words
Talking about your inner world isn't always easy, especially if you’ve previously been met with judgment, rejection, or misunderstanding when you tried to open up.
But here’s the thing: you don’t need to be able to explain everything right away.
Trust often grows gradually, and as our work together deepens, it usually becomes easier to express even the most vulnerable thoughts and feelings — in your own time.
